Original archive (gal94_v2.zip, 236k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_GALAGA94.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, gal94_v2.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
Galaga 94 is a fairly basic Galaga clone, unsurprisingly unsanctioned by Namco. Created in the year 1994, the graphics and sound effects are decent, but the animation is a bit choppy, and so the game is a bit difficult to play. However it retains the essential gameplay of the arcade classic original space shooter. (Note: The DOSBOX_GALAGA94.ZIP file is set up for a generic DOSBox setup using SB16 for sound; if your setup is using something else, you will need to replace the existing FX_SB.DRV file with the correct CT-VOICE.DRV file for your chosen sound card, see the SOUND.TXT file included for details.)
