Super Mario World DX

Super Mario World DX is fan remake of the classic SNES game. It uses assets from the original game, and re-assembles them using its own original engine to form a game that is like SMW, but ... not quite. It plays pretty smoothly, but if you're used to playing the original the game mechanics will feel slightly clunky. However it's still a great achievement to build this. The game includes five levels and also includes a level editor, which I did not try, but you're welcome to if you're feeling adventurous. The game and editor were created using DIV Games Studio. Note that for some reason the background music doesn't play in-browser but it does work in DOSBox on my own PC, so if you miss the music try downloading it and running it locally.
