Operation Just Because is a strangely named Battleship clone. Just like the board game, you place your ships and then take turns firing at your opponent's grid. The game is presented well here, with nicely drawn graphics. The shareware edition is one player vs CPU only, you would've needed to register to play 2-player mode. It does feature some unique options not in the original Battleship game, like IR scopes and jammers, however they are not well documented so they are a bit confusing.
Play Operation Just Because in Browser
Game will not be saved after closing your browser. Download and install the game if you want to save.
CTRL-F12 attempts to speed up game, CTRL-F11 attempts to slow it down.
