Madness is a score-based numbers game where you move around the board, trying to cover as much space as possible before running out of room. It's a strategic game, not an action game. You can move in one of eight directions, and you move the number of spaces on the space in the direction you pressed. You'll want to use a numeric keypad for this game, so if you don't have one, it'll be trickier. It uses textmode and works fine, although with the board being so big, it seems like it would be difficult to really plan very far ahead at all.
