Castles II is a real-time strategy game which it set in the middle ages. You choose one of the five feuding lords, all of whom are vying against each other for the crown. You'll need to build your castle and engage in diplomacy and aggression against your enemies in order to earn enough game points to petition the Pope for the throne. I am not a fan of these kinds of games personally but from what I can see it plays well and offers an uncomplicated (relatively) game for fans of real-time strategy that don't want an overly complex playing experience. Certainly the graphics and sounds help set an appropriate mood for the game.
