Hmm, I'm not entirely sure how; but I think you can edit DOSBox's code to run VDMS and DOSBox through a game. Ask someone with more DOSBox know-ledge.

It sure would. But the first Sonic game on PC was SonicCD. It pretty fun, but it was made for Windows 95. I own it, but it won't work on my new XP system.

Hmm, according to Moby Games, the game is compatible with DOS; so you should try DOSBox.

For the speed problem, try MoSlo, it's a program that lets you alter the speed of games. Although, if the game runs okay through DOSBox, this problem may also be fixed.
