Pedes is a competent combination of Snake and a maze game. Originally given away as a registration bonus for the game Glook (and later provided for free on the author's website) Pedes has you playing as a worm, chasing other worms in a Pac-Man-esque maze. (In the sense of how your worm moves and automatically turns corners.) You must eat the worms from behind, or crash into them to destroy some of their segments, or run into them head-first as long as your worm is bigger than theirs. It plays well enough once you get the hang of it, and later levels introduce some new gameplay features to keep it from getting too stale.
