Armed Worms is a Snake or Nibbles style game for two players. You each control a snake, and when you eat things, your snake gets longer. The object is to avoid crashing into the walls or the other player. Unlike what the name may suggest, there are no weapons or anything like that. You do get a selection of levels to play with different layouts, along with a level editor to make your own. You can also control a lot of different options, including the starting length of the snakes and how much they grow from eating things, the speed, etc. Overall it's a well made game although there seems to be no sound, or at least I didn't hear any in DOSBox and I didn't see any options about it. (Read the note in the Instructions section below re starting a game!)

NOTE! When you press S to start the game, you're presented with a list of levels. Just pressing Enter will bring you back to the menu; you need to first press Space to select which level(s) you want to play, THEN press Enter to proceed.
