Alien Worlds is a very simple shooting game where you are attacked by a single enemy alien at a time and must shoot it. You move around using the mouse and fire your weapon with the left button. Whenever you fire, the whole screen freezes. That, plus the fact that the aliens track directly toward your player at all times, makes it a little difficult to hit them. There's not much else to the game, but one interesting feature is that you can press the N key (for "next"?) at any time to skip ahead to the next level, each of which has a unique background. It was coded in QuickBasic according to the author but the source code is not provided.
