Alien River is a simple text-mode game where the object is to explore a crashed alien space ship. To do so you must work your way across the screen, crossing the river, and avoiding the aliens. Your only weapons are land mines, which you can lay down to defeat one of the aliens at a time. Although the game is mostly the same each time you play, the exact position of the aliens and the location of the extra mines changes. It seems quite difficult to win, so good luck in surviving to investigate the alien ship and make it back! (Pascal source code is included.)
