William Shatner's Tekwar is a game based on the series of books written by Captain Kirk himself. Or rather the actor that played him I guess. I've never read any of the books, but if they're as bad as this game, I should be glad that I haven't. Although it uses the BUILD engine (the same engine used for Duke Nukem 3D and other games) this game plays very poorly. The graphics, while detailed, still manage to somehow look ugly. The gameplay is also head-scratchingly poor with no clear objectives and frustrating/cheap/stupid computer AI. If you're a fan of this genre of game, or Tekwar, you may want to take a look. But don't expect to play for long!
