After the runaway success of the original release of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? software developer Brøderbund Software of course began to release sequels. The demo version of Where in Europe is Carmen Sandiego? available here seems to present a single case for investigation, while of course the full version contains many more. The premise and gameplay are the same as the other early games in the series: A thief has run off with an item of value, and it's your job to track them down. To do so, you'll travel to various places in Europe to look for clues. The actual game came with some nice manuals and information about the different countries. Intended as a learning game for kids, I'm not sure how much we actually learned from them, but they were definitely fun to play!
