TwinBlok is a Breakout/Arkanoid type game which switches things up a little by turning things horizontally. This actually makes sense since almost all PC monitors are orientated horizontally. Otherwise, the game plays a lot like other games in the genre, with a bouncing ball, paddle, and powerups to collect as you break all the blocks (bloks?) to move on to the next stage. The control feels a bit off to me, regardless of whether I use the mouse or keyboard (I suggest selecting keyboard in the options menu) I seem to miss the ball more than I think I should. The game looks good, but the sound also seems a little off; there is an annoying buzz in the background. Both of those issues may be emulation related, not sure, but as-is, it's a decent Breakout type game. There is also a multiplayer mode which is less common for this type of game.
