The Hunt Gameboy Advance ROM (hunt.gba, 120k) - This is the definitive edition of the game, according to Mr Cavanagh himself. You will need a Gameboy Advance emulator or flash cart to play this.

The Hunt is a simple action game with a racing motif. The story involves fleeing for your life in a stolen car after being convicted of a crime you didn't commit. So you must weave your way carefully through traffic, avoiding other cars, obstacles, and the police who are pursuing you. The game was developed by Terry Cavanagh, who would go on to develop stellar games such as VVVVVV (seriously, buy it and enjoy it) and Super Hexagon. While this game doesn't have nearly the longevity of those great games, it does display a high level of pixel-precision polish that would become even more refined in his later works. This polish is especially impressive given that The Hunt was written in QuickBasic and ASM. (It includes source code.) The definitive version of this game (according to Mr Cavanagh himself) is the Gameboy Advance port; you can download the GBA ROM of The Hunt here on his website.
