Original archive (mdwfull.zip, 4,119k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_MADDOG.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, mdwfull.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
Maddog Williams Hints Program (mdwhints.zip, 87k) - The official hints program; press # (Shift-3) in the game to obtain the four-digit screen number, then enter it into the program to get hints.
Reminiscent of earlier Sierra (On-Line) games, Maddog Williams employs the same style interface as the original Kings Quest and Space Quest games. (And, uh, Leisure Suit Larry ...) The story, which is explained in a lengthy cinema before the game starts, is pretty standard adventure game fare, but the game is quite well put together. It has some nicely drawn graphics (although they are a bit too dark) and good 'ol fashioned gameplay.
