Syndicate is a beloved classic DOS action / strategy game where you play a hit man for one of a handful of global corporations (syndicates) that have taken over the world. Reminiscent of the look of the X-Com games but in real-time, you move your squad of characters through the missions, earning money by successfully completing them to upgrade your team for the next mission. The graphics are great; 640x480 x 16 colors has rarely looked so good. The action can get frantic fast and it'll take some time to learn the controls and how to help your team survive! (This demo contains a single level; the full game has over 50.)
