Stellar Defense II is an Asteroids type game where you must blast the large rocks, enemy ships, and other obstacles that are floating around in space. There is a storyline but the text scrolls too fast to really read it. Also selecting any sound setting results in obnoxious PC speaker squealing sounds, so leave the sound setting on PC Speaker. (If anyone knows how to avoid this issue in DOSBox please let me know.) The game itself looks decent but the gameplay is only passable, probably not something you'd want to play too long. Perhaps the coolest part is the ANSI registration screen that displays when exiting the game.
