Lala Prologue (on the title screen it looks like Lala the Magical Prologue) is a platforming game with smooth, well-drawn graphics and simple controls. The object is to run and jump your way through the levels, avoiding the enemies and obstacles. The presentation is quite well done, and it definitely nails the old-school PC game style (it feels like it may have been released in the UK in the early 90's). There are also items you collect, although it's not immediately obvious what all of them do. (Keys are pretty straightforward, but what about the green potions?) I'm not sure how long this game is but from what I've played it's quite well done. (It includes source code in QuickBasic.)
