Dr Rudy DOS game screenshot Review:  Rating: 3.5
If you've ever played Nintendo's Dr Mario, you know what to expect. Dr Rudy clearly idolizes Dr Mario. This game style is basically a variant of Tetris where you're trying to match up lines of four colored pieces in a row to clear 'em off the screen. Pills drop from the top of the screen, and you match the color of the pill to the viruses to clear them from dropzone. Simple, elegant VGA graphics complement the action, although it also provides a text-mode version of the game using ASCII characters, a rather unique feature! (The game says it supports two players but I was unable to select that option in-game.)
--DR. RUDY v1.35a (15 Mar 96) by Kevin J. North--
IBM arcade/action game for 1 or 2 players.
Supports 256-color VGA or CGA, color monitor
highly recommended. FreeWare, but 2-player mode
can be "unlocked" for a $10 donation. Game play:
You start with a bottle with viruses in it of 3
different colors. Immediately you get a colored
pill, and it is your job to guide it as it slowly
falls through the bottle and place it so that it
matches colors in a row/column. New for v1.35:
Ability to save a game in progress.
