Digital League Baseball is a baseball simulation game, meaning that you get to manage the team but don't actually get to play. You choose your team, determine the starting lineup, and make substitutions during the game. Other than that, you watch as the computer generates random numbers and compares them against the stats of the players. This game has a graphical view that shows the field, and animations when things are happening, so that's a nice touch given how old the game is. It also includes all of the actual teams and players from the time (no doubt unlicensed from the MLBPA) so that's also pretty neat.
