Original archive (1bop11.zip, 1,318k) - The main download file above (DOSBOX_BOPPIN.ZIP) is pre-configured to work DOSBox. This file, 1bop11.zip, is the original and may require installation / setup.
This game is a bit different from other side-scrolling games published by Apogee. It contains a prominent "adults only" warning, I think mostly due to the cartoon depictions of "seppuku" (suicide). Viewer discretion is advised! But anyways, in the game, all of the other video game villains have become trapped in jewel stones; the gameplay consists of picking up jewels of various colors and matching them up to eliminate them from the playing field, freeing the baddies. (Apparently the games were too boring without the evildoers!) The controls take some getting used to, but this is definitely a unique and interesting puzzle game.
