Post by mekobi »

erm.. im trying to find this game, which i played when i was like 5.. in 1994.. the problem is that.. my dad recalls the name of the game i played to be called "bookworm".. and now there is another game whose name is "bookworm".. the word game..

but the game i played wasnt a word game.. it was like this adventure game.. i cant really remember much of it.. but i do remember that i was playing as this kid.. and i had to collect jewels or smth.. then there would be thse monsters thingys to stop me.. but being an obstacle.. the graphics were really good..

so erm.. can someone help me with this? coz i have been lookin for this game for like ages.. and i dont even know whether my dad remembered the title correctly..

omg.. i played this game before.. lol..

but its not the one i remembered.. erm.. the game i played was something later? later than this.. erm.. the starting page is like.. gray lands or smth.. then u are supposed to navigate ur person into this like.. erm building thingys.. and its like.. only when u finish one building then u can go into another buidling.. i think.. here everything is like small..

after u enter the building.. u can see the character and stuff.. and the colouring is better than word rescue.. i dun think this game is educational.. coz u have to get like gems.. i think.. there is this scene where i sort of remmebr there is this monter jumping up and down.. and u have to get the gem behind it.. the monsters will always like turn and face u.. erm.. thats all i remember..

does anyone recall a game smth like this?? i think i was still playing this game in 1997..

Oh man, MATH RESCUE!

I totally over played that game as a kid.

Yet I still suck at math.... XD

Word Rescue was fun too, but oddly, I didn't like it as much as Math Rescue, and now I'm an english major. XD
