I thought EVERYBODY knew of this so i never mentioned it, but recently i was surprised to see how many actually didnt!
ok. We all know how to toggle debug mode right (-goobers at the end of the command line) (works only in certain versions. The others have a different parameter you have to add) anyway, EVERY episode has AT LEAST ONE SECRET level. In one episode however, go to level 20
[ctrl][w] is the code to warp i believe (its been a while since i last played the game) btu in one episode warp to level 20. You will know you have found the correct level when: The walls are blu, you hear a song you will never hear anywhere else in the game, the floor is covered in goblets and other treasures, and there are ghost baddies. The ghosts are impossible to kill and dont hurt if you have it on a low difficulty. (Try it on a really hard difficulty for an added challange!)

For most versions, its WOLF3D -goobers. And the level is episode 2, level 20, keep presssing backspace W (I would reccomend you press Backspace G while on the pacman level )
