PS3 Modern FPS with switchable character control

Hello people, i've been searching for this game for my whole afternoon and i just can't find it so i'm gonna have to resort to internet help !
What i remember from the game are the followings:
-The game was in the PS3 (maybe PS2 era not 100% sure)
-It was an FPS
-It was modern warfare, well from back then
-The main mechanics was that you could switch from character to character when you looked at them by pressing a button with the symbol of that charachter class above their head
-it was scripted single player mission (maybe there was a multiplayer but if there is never played it)
-there was also vehicles that were driveable and were counted like a class you could swap with midgame like with other soldiers
-I remember 2 mission from the game : One were you had to interept a train and prevent it from leaving, and another one that was happening on an oil platform in the middle of the water.

and that's basically all i can remember from the game, i know that's not much but that mechanic allowing you to swap between your soldiers during battle was pretty unique.
