i tried the demo for it ages ago, heres what i can remember;
its about you are a giant floating rock with a bunch of weapons and a base, and you go around killing other giant floating rocks with bases and weapons on them,you have to like put batteries down and shit, one of the weapons is catapult and other is like melee i think as well as some other cannons.

"Floating rock" made me think of NetStorm, but otherwise would you mind reading the posting rules and filling in some more relevant details? (you know, "ages ago" isn't exactly specific)

1995- 2001 would be best guess.
Your base sits on a wide cone of floating earth with a flat top, and then you start to place shield generators, batteries, and weapons on the outside of your ship, which you can place anywhere on it, or rotate your cannons around
Only weapons i know for sure was there was a very long range catapult, and a shorter range burst cannon thing. you would fly around mountains and try to find the other guy and blow him up.
