2 player simple shooting 2D game

Hey,
so I am looking for this game but there is not much I remember. So it was like a simple 2D game for two players. I remember you were two cicles who were shooting enemies (other shapes perhaps?) and there might have been some power ups around. When you died you kinda splatted. Another weird detail I remember is that there were quite a few levels (100 perhaps?) and it was hard to get as far, so you could cheat by renaming the level files and thus switching them if you wanted to see how the more advanced levels looked like. I played it on windows perhaps between 2000 - 2005. Somehow I was convinced that the name was "CAP" but couldnt find that anywhere.
