Old game I used to play with my father

Hello I'm trying to figure out an old game I used to play with my father it was around Christmas time as I remember eating a mince pie and my dad had put his cigarette out in the foil and I hadn't realised this resulting in me eating some of the cigarette ash blurghhh
As to the game in question it was a multiplayer game like crazy golf with bright vivid colours, the idea was to hit a ball around a course but the course had walls and ramps and things that got in the way.
It was really good fun but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it and I now have a way to play old games so was hopeful that someone might have an idea what it's called so I could play it with my son.
