DOS Games Discussion

Here it goes...

I got ca:starship and when I try to start it, I get either a memory message("playing starship requires 584,000 bytes of memory to play") when it's windowed and a plain black screen when it's fullscreen. If I press anything on the black screen, the games quit and says "thank you for playing"
"file not found"

I wanted that game so badly that I tried uninstalling window.... and still got the same message...that move was stupid...

anyway, anybody knows what to do?

btw if anyone knows a way of getting the original cd, that'd be great, I lost mine and scrapped my copy.......

hi vdms fixes the memory problem its under the memory tab however you need to set it to just over the requirements.
Vdms can be found in the dosgames utilities section

but the file not found problem, maybe the game is readonly?

Could you specify what operating system you're using and what type of memory (yes, there are several... though I'm guessing EMS) it's demanding?
