Multiplayer racing game on the Nintendo wii. Takes place in space. You cooperate with up to 3 teammates to reach the end. Have fond memories of playing with my sister mom and dad before our wii broke 2 years ago and we just forgot it over time.

Could it be BEN 10 Galactic Racing? If not, you might want to provide more info and try googling for lists of Wii racing games and looking through them.

I got this list of Wii racing games by Common sense media as a hit when I searched for wii racing game space. I then looked at Galactic racing due to the space-related name and found out that it has a co-op mode. That's what parents need to know.
