You could ahve asked me, and I could have told you to just hit f8 during startup and select "COMMAND PROMPT ONLY" tio get dos. Or stick in the WinME CD and select start comp with CD-ROM support...

nay, that does not get you REAL-MODE dos, only a protected mode. i think. that's why you need this patch.
