Some guys told me I should give this one a tryout:
http://zorin-os.com/free.html

So been playing around a little bit lately with this one:
Zorin OS 6 (LTS), on a P4 dual core 2.8GHz ......
It's basicly Ubuntu with a 'windows' feel/look.....
Works pretty good till now, no major problems, looks promising.

Someone else knows this one?

Looks nice! Haven't heard about it before though.

Zorin is a Russian family name actually (derived from Russian zarya meaning 'dawn'), but I haven't found any info on whether this distro is indeed named after someone whose name is Zorin or this is just a coincidence.

Correction: Windows is basically KDE with some slight changes to the eye candy.

No idea who or what the 'Zorin group' is .....
But if you have something laying around that can run the OS it's certainly worth a try.

Arf arf, someone is in a nitpicking mood again ....

Whatever,
Time to test the most important soft ....

Meh.... must restrain myself or I keep playing that game :)

Next:
Will try some things out in WINE and that 'playonlinux' soft next, yes, it comes bundled with WINE and that playonlinux stuff...... interesting .....

Must say till now had only one glitch, WIFI refused, was sipmy solved by plugin in a LAN cable ...
WIFI is a brand new D-Link USB dongle, will probably be solved in time......or is already solved in latest release, keep in mind that Zorin core 6.4 isn't the latest one, took it because of the LTS.

BTW, somehow when I checked their site I couldn't find the system requirements page.
