Sherlock Holmes curse of the rose tattoo dosbox issues

I just downloaded curse of the rose tattoo and am trying to run through dosbox on Mac. I mount c drive and navigate to folder and install the game and adjust sound and all is fine but when I run the game within seconds the game freezes and lines of script overtake the screen indicating there is an error. Any help would be appreciated as to how to properly run this game through dosbox. Running the first game in the series fine. Thanks

Can't you ask where you downloaded the game?
Is it a ripped version or the full CD ?
Dosbox version????
Setup choices????(detailed please)
Mount lines????? (detailed please)
How do you launch the game ???? (exact inputs?)

...and for Mac you should use the dosbox package Boxer. Did you?
