DOS space strategy game [Reunion]

Hi everyone.
Perhaps you could help me find an old sci-fi strategy game - its really driving me nuts.
I believe it was a dos game. Had to be from the 90s.
Might be an easy one. There are a couple things I remember:
- It was a space strategy game sort of like master of orion, but more original. It was all realtime with time flow speed control, I believe.
- You were sending drones to planets. Colonizing them etc.
- Had a female protagonist. You could see her on the main screen standing in front of the map. I think you could click the map to go to colony view and build stuff.
Also, you could hire advisors for certain areas like warfare, economics. Then they would stand next to her.
In game intro the female commander was standing on her arms naked, in water, I think. I remember it really struck me as a kid, lol. I got to see that intro.
- You could go to a pub and ask for galaxy rumors.
- Space battles were automatic in real time. You could see flying dots for ships and your warfare advisor commanding them.
- I think there were land battles too.
- The name of the game was the name of a resource, probably metal, that was used in the game and was rare.
Save me from insanity.
