old fantasy strategy game

Hi!

I'm looking for old fantasy strategy game. not sure if it is turned based. i can only remember that one of the resources was pumpkins. you had to build a special storage building and send worker to harvest the pumpkins and bring it to the storage. also you can build a spy and archer. other resources were...i think....iron and some kind of wheel of a watch(gear).
release date between 1992-1999.

This is a longshot, but it might be one of the Settlers games since they have so many resource types...

I remember this game as well. It's not the settlers.
It was set in a post apocalyptic future where the intro cut scene a meteor approaches earth is nuked but it still hits earth.

The resources were pumpkins,stone and cogs (or tech...whatever it's called)

Inbetween missions you could reasearch between 4 things. I think those were : Food, War, Tech, Arcane (only sure about the first 2)

The archer could steal tech from the ennemies during missions.

But i can't remember the name...

Not sure it ran in dos however.
