Sometimes I wish there weren't no subs at all.
And no movie clips at all.
This must be the worst thriller clone evah.
You'd better don't click the link, really, don't.

But ... it has subtitles.

subtitles...I have the original ring series, grudge series, dark water and the eye series in Japanese in subtitles...the dubbing of these movies is just ridiculous as they made American versions of the movies.

one of the main things ive noticed is that, once you hear the Japanese version then the American version you realize how ridiculous the American version sounds

Dubs are for the most part, incredibly annoying. There are a few exceptions where I don't mind them. But generally speaking if it's a foreign film I'd much rather subtitles and for most anime I'd rather subtitles, the only exceptions I can think of off the top of my head would be Ghost In The Shell and RahXephon which actually had good English voice actors.

i agree that they CAN be good but for the most of the time they just suck. take naruto for example, i dont really watch it or follow it but ive seen 2 episodes, 1 in english and 1 in japanese and the english version is just terrible

I've never seen it in Japanese, I saw a couple of episodes in English on TV, couldn't stand it, don't think I'll bother finding out if the subbed version is any better, the main character is just a douche bag.

I have not actually watched a show in japanese. I have seen some dubs in italian, spanish and even french. I have also seen the dubs of omni news in ukraine, italian, mandarin and several other languages and I must say the only language that seems to do bad in dubbing is French. I've seen several episodes of the simpsons in french and really while still a good dub it's not as good as the english. All signs are in english, any music is in english so when there is singing it's english. The dialogue is french. There are obvious parts of dialogue that are cut out in the french version. While good the actors are a lot worse. I've also seen the magic school bus in french. Actors are good but really what I've noticed about almost every french dub and that includes the simpsons is there is not enough expression in the voices. In the french version of Tna. The announcers are cut out and two french people annouce. There is again not enough expression but they are still good.Whenever they interview a wrestler the wrestler says something in english then the 2 french people say the same thing in french it's very annoying. While the french are good at dubs english dubs are just better. I think dubs are great though because it lets people be able to compare them.
