Back in the 80s and early 90s, the hardware and software evolution and inovation were always side-to-side with arcades, and, it was in those obscure and dark places, that I would decide which title I would buy next for my ZX Spectrum or Amiga.
Let's take a look at my all time favorites!

Cool, watching it right now :) (Your episode covers still don't show on the board for some reason.)

One thing though, you say that Psygnosis is formed from Latin words, but they are originally Greek - although they were borrowed into Latin and Latin has its own cognate (no pun intended) of Greek γνῶσις in the form of nōtus 'known'. As for ψυχή there are apparently no Latin cognates, and the Latin word for 'soul' is anima and mēns for 'mind'.

WoW! Thanks for clarifying that!! :) It was information that I retrieved from an interview to former employees of Psygnosis :)
Thank you so much!

Lemmings & Psygnosis - marvelous! I so remember lemmings on the PC. An early super-addictive bar-raising game. Amazing to hear how well it did universally, so cool.

Keep it up!

Microsoft SideWinder Dual Strike - another cool vid! I picked up one off ebay a few years back because they have some cool hacks for BYOAC: Arcade Game controllers, though I ended up just ebaying some real arcade controls at the time instead of taking it apart.

I mourn the loss of the creativity and great output from Microsoft's joystick & controller division. They still have one of the best flightsticks and driving controllers; I still use mine. I think they were rolled into the Xbox division and devoted to that, but somehow they lost all the cool stuff they were doing for the PC, from this dual strike to their RTS Commander and their great driving controls and gamepads. The Xbox gamepads are great on the PC, but everything else went away... :(
