Mel Odious and Blackstar 2

I can't figure out what to do next in each game.

In Mel Odious I'm trying to get my ID from Al. What do I need to pay him with? Also, how do I get stuff from the bum?

In Blackstar 2 I can't figure out how to get into the safe harbor building.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

the only help I can give you is that at the side of the building, if you use an item on the left barred up window, it says "It's too dark to see, maybe I should try the other window"

This sort of implies you need to use an item on the right window at the side of the safe harbour building. I'm pulling my hair out over this one too, so let me know if anything develops

Does anybody know what to do when you are in "Psycho’s"?
And Dreamercat, how have you found Al? Or does anyone else know how
to find him?

Im stuck on this too, what do you do with the handcuffs? How do you get in the house because on the buzzer i dont know what to say when ive buzzed into people? Please help im lost and hopeless hehe. XXX

Well, I've tried that, but it's quite an old game...that's how i found this site on google hehe

where can i download a good copy of this game? the one i got from this link does not show the text of the game properly when opened. http://www. nostalgia8.org/download/hints/pw/mel.rtf please, i'm so frustrated, i really want to play this game again!
