Hi all,
I have been trying to remember the name of a game I played sometime in '93-'95.
Here are the things I remember:
It was a real time strategy war game but was set up more like a board game. (The peices where abstract representations and it was played on a checkerboard like grid)
It looked similar to chess but you assigned each peice a task to perform instead of moving it.
There were 3 different peice sets that represented 3 different periods of warfare. I remember the ancient warfare one had a pharoah, a chariat and possibly a catapult. When you used the "modern" warfare peice set the oppenent's peices would be hidden unless you positioned your radar peices correctly.
Also, I think I remember something about it being the first game of some type to be 3d, or the first 3d with SVGA graphics.
If you could help me remember, I would appreciate it. This is really driving me crazy.
Thanks you so much
Chess like RTS game I wish I could remember the name of...
