Yeah, it is a sitting down concert.
But I like mellow stuff, and the tickets are pretty good
and it's been so long since I've been to anything live.
I'm not a HUGE fan, but I do like his stuff, and it's something to do.
Plus, a bunch of my friends are also going.

Now, that's the last band I saw live:
The 'Dixieland Streetband'.

They were pretty good too.

Ohh! They're great. Their instruments blend so well.

Mmm. *snaps fingers*

Modest Mouse, Wolfmother ... others ... mostly Australian bands. I don't know, I've only ever been to music festivals and I'm usually very drunk.

GAMER, where are you going for schoolies?

You've seen Modest Mouse live?!? :wow:

Were they awesome??

Uhm. I think i'm going to Dee Why. I'm not doing the whole paying-lots-of-money-to-get-trashed-with-people-i-hate-and-be-sexually-assaulted thing.

Just going to stay with a boy i don't get to see much, hit the beach and laze around.

You are older than me aren't you? You don't schoolie this year?

NPS
Am ridiculously jealous of you seeing Modest Mouse!
Frick.
Another great band to see live is Blind Melon, but too bad the dude is dead...
Also, I'd love to see Radiohead. Anyone seen? How about Muse?

I just saw James Ehnes.
Anyone even cultured enough to know who he is?

Eeuuuurhhh ... if he's dead, we won't see him live, probably.

Who knows?

Maybe the went necromancing on his ass and now he's a living dead! That should qualify him for a live act! :D

No duh!
That's why I said TOO BAD HE'S DEAD. Otherwise I'd probably try to see them live. Because they would be doing shows. Because he wouldn't be dead.
but he is, so therefore, TOO BAD.

But isn't it wrong to say "Another band great to see live is Blind Melon"?

I mean, if that guy is dead, the band's no longer great to see live! Because he's dead! Right?

Just saw Steve Vai play at a promotional thing at the music store. Fucking impressive guitar playing.

I’ve been to more gigs then I can poke a stick at, rather then spiel on about them all here... Clicky clicky... <- A review of the August gigs I went to. :)

It’s 4 gigs not 5, but in one month I thought that was a pretty good effort, would have gone to another but I was at a friends 20th the last weekend of the month.

To make up for the lack of the 5th well I’m going to another gig tomorrow night in the city, a friends band is playing so it should be good, I’ll probably know 1/2 the people there and since I don’t have anywhere I need to be Sunday morning I can stay out all night.

Woo! :)

I haven't been to a show in ages. I've seen over 100 international acts though. Next show will probably be the Soundwave Festival. It has a bunch of crap bands and few really good ones. Or i might go to Reel Big Fish + Less Than Jake + Streetlight Manifesto or Bouncing Souls. Depending on moneys.

Oh....

I totally forgot to mention this...

Yeah.
Saw Matt Good a couple weeks ago.

FANTASTIC.
The guy is hilarious!

Frick.
And he did 4 encore songs for us.

So good.
SO GOOD.

I bought a t-shirt, "track Jacket" and a signed copy of his new CD "Hospital Music"

It was awesome!

i wanted to go to the ZPZ concert... i hate my lack of work
One time I had a Jack and coke and it had a lime in it, And I saw that the lime was floating. That's good news man. Next time I'm on a boat and it capsizes, I'll reach for a lime... I'll be water skiing without a life preserver and people'll say 'What the hell?' and I'll pull out a lime...and a lemon too. I'm saved by the buoyancy of citrus.
