How do I get sound to work in XP? I had the game before on an older system.... there was music and very few sound effects.... Does anyone know how to get it to work (I've already tried Compatibility)

Or try ScummVM which runs most old Lucasarts adventures natively under Windows.

indiana jones and the fate of atlantis sound problems

Post by SteeleJH »

im trying to run fate on windows XP but the sound didn't work, i used the ScummVM file but it only makes the music work and not voices, without using the scumm launcher i can get the voices to work for about 2-3 seconds before cutting out
can someone please email me with advice and suggestions

You guys are lucky at least you can get the game to run! I bought this off ebay and the user had infected the disks with a virus. Just goes to show you can't be too careful buying off the internet, sucks to be me...

Can't you report the seller and get the money back? Or at least get them punished somehow.

I never trusted Ebay..... :P

If we are to download or buy off of the Internet these days, always scan the program with a anti-virus program. Thre's never telling when something nasty might be hidden.......

Wow, thanks for the Scrumm. Works perfect. I haven't played Indiana Jones and TFOA in more than 10 years.
