most impressive game music

Post by greencosmos »

What do you say, what game's music do you like most? There can be only ONE, and for me it's Planescape Torment. It's beautiful...

umm... only ONE? Naaah, I've played far too many games with way too cool music to choose just one.

Great music in:

Final Fantasy 6
Sword of Mana
Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow
Metroid
NFS Underground and above :D
And many others!

I remember being really impressed with the music in Castlevania IV for the SNES when I first played it ... though probably Final Fantasy VI (aka FF3US) will probably always be my favorite. :)

Dude Croteam made only two games! They make pretty-good music(ok, and game[s]), you can't actually judge the whole nation after few game-makers :P

Oh and yeah, Super Castlevania IV was badass(and still is, mind you)

We have similar tastes. BG2 and SC2 were simply fantastic (incidentially, my 2 favorite games). Freespace 2 has awesome music, as does Anvil of Dawn...

But, you can't beat Legend of Zelda. Any of them, really.

It's a proven fact that Turrican wins this battle. How many other games have such a huge impact on a group? lol. Check out the number of remixes and covers in the demoscene. lol.
