Never really liked ROTT.
Don't ask why, 'cause I don't know why. It just don't feels good enough.

I wasn't really a big fan of it either, but I thought the article was an interesting read.

I have taken a look at that TC&Sequel site, some really interesting stuff.
Wolf3D for Quake, a lost project, shame, looks pretty good.

Never knew that about ROTT. I have to agree with the other ppl above, that ROTT just didn't have the right "feel". I tried playing it several times because I wanted to like it, but couldn't get into it.

Yeah, I liked it a bit, but I think it was the whole platform aspect of it that didn't work so well. I really just liked it for the gore factor. lol.

Somehow I always found that the opponents were a bit ... a bit ... boring, not agressive enough. To say as is: LAME.
And some other stuffnesses that didn't felt really good.

Hmmm, if this goes on I'm going to be tempted to split another one.

Must ... resist....

ROTT was the bomb. Who could say no to a multiple heat-seeking rocket launcher? Not me!

LOL ROTT was the first game I ever had to put into the computer myself. It took me over an hour to figure out the first time I did it. I have absolutely no idea what happened to it but when I was 10 or so it was REALLY fun. I'm sure by now though if I played it again it would seem fairly boring...

Yeah, those moving spikey walls and flame thrower walls were more deadly than the computer players.
