Get a free trial, run the updater, do the scan, and she should do the job for you.

So were you able to remove it?

Free anti-virus software:
Avast (my choice): http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast ... omeEdition
AVG: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us ... virus-free

Free anti-spyware software:
Spybot S&D: http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index.html
AdAware: http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Per ... l&tag=top5

I'd recommend installing one of the two anti-virus programs and both of the anti-spyware programs. (As well as the Microsoft Antispyware.)

Get Linux. You won't have to worry about viruses.
www.ubuntu.com
Ubuntu is good.
I you want to stick with windows, I don't know what to say. Try Norton.

1) Thinking Linux is virusfree is pretty dumb.
2) Norton is crappy, and once installed very hard to completely remove, and a ressource eating monster.
3) Read Larry's post.
4) This topic has run it's course, don't revive old topics if you don't have anything VALUABLE or really interesting to add.
5) Glance@forumrules.

I'll lock this topic to avoid further spam.

Spacefans, If you still should have problems and want it reopened PM me,another mod or an admin.
Or start a new fresh one.
