Dungeon keeper 2 and XP

Hey I’m having a problem with Dungeon keeper 2 v 1.7 on XP, after I play for a while I get this “Microsoft has encountered a problem and needs to close sorry for inconvenience”. What should I do the computer is quite fast and I have ran it on slower please help :cry:

try turning off QSound? or Bump Mapping?

Whats QSound and Bump mapping? Oh yhea and Im running it by changing its compatability to windows 2000.

dont change its compatibility :P you dont need to under winXP and have you actually looked at the games options?

I found the Qsound and mapping it works great now ty! :) (oh yhea and when i installed it it told me to change compatibility its one of those Sold out brand games.)

oh, ignore that message then, and Qsound is i think like EAX, so if you have a crappy soundcard it can cause BSOD to occur.
