Star Trek Judgement Rites not allowing saving

I just started trying to play Judgement Rites today using DosBox .70. Everything seems to be set up as it should be. However, when I attempt to save my game, I get a message that the it cannot save, as the disc is either full or write-protected. Is there something that I need to do in order to make dosbox able to write to my harddrive, or do I just have a glitched out copy of the game?

do you see an error at the secondairy window of dosbox?

Nothing. Judgement Rites just refuses to save.

Actually, I just got it to work. Turns out that it didn't much like mounting my second harddrive. I reinstalled the game on my c drive, and its working fine so far.
