With the help from of one of you guys (thanks!) I re-discovered the game Hugo's house of horror..Does anyone know more games like this? (= games where you have to type and figure out a commando to proceed)
I do hope so! :)

It's me again :D . Glad I helped you out. As for more games, you are in luck. There are plenty more of them. Just do a search for the following on Dos Games and other sites them. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Whodunit? (Hugo 2)
Jungle of Doom (Hugo 3)

Space Quest series

King's Quest series

Leisure Suit Larry series

That's more the Point 'n Click adventures though. He wants those command based graphical adventures. Indeed like Leisure Suit Larry 1, 2 and 3, and most King's Quest games.

Personally i do recommend playing Point 'n klcik adventures (for example the ones Larry suggested) because the gameplay has strongly improved due to the mouse use.

LucasArts games

Post by gooney47 »

and while you're on the LucasArts bandwagon, add:

Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders
Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
Manaic Mansion (only worth it if you can dig up the CD version)
Sam and Max hit the road
Full Throttle

and just for safe measure:

(Epic Megagames)
Jazz Jackrabbit
Epic Pinball
Jill of the Jungle

Wolfenstein 3D
DOOM
Duke Nukem

at least, these are the ones i fancy...
If you tend to fail on the first try, i don't recommend you skydive
