Adventure Bot IRC Script

Post by DaDosDude »

In case you recently dropped by the #Dosgames channel, you might have noticed me around, well I've coded a little adventure bot script for IRC. Currently in the #AdventureBot Channel in irc.p2p-network.net (IRC Client might be needed). As the Game is still under construction, any Story Idea's or questions are welcome and can be posted here or PM'd to me. Be sure to join the #DOSgames Channel while you're at the server :P(for those who aren't).

The point of the game is practically try to revive those old Adventure Legends, like Sam 'n Max, Larry Laffer etc. And also to have certain actions goaling towards those classics

If you want, Help all you can! Any idea is welcome!

Thanks,
DaDosDude

Thirded!

I haven't really tried it all the way through, though it's kinda fun.

Larry and I are the chan's admins. :>

I'm having a bit of trouble finding out what to do after you reach the junkyard. Help?

But nonetheless, it's a pretty fun text-adventure. Can't wait for more!

It's Not A Website, It's An Irc Channel.

Here's a guide TSM wrote to getting KVIrc up and running. After you're connected to P2P-Network, type "/join #adventurebot" into the console. If you need more help, PM me and I'll try to get you connected.

Well, I'm the kind of guy who'd rather ask questions than read the text. :suspicious:

Speaking of which, DaDosDude, when this is finally over, I could help you port it to web/php...

That is, if you think you might need help :D
