Read the article Larry, a film crew was present. It's expected that some of it will be broadcast to prove that "It's over" though it's unlikely they will show the actual execution itself.

More information will surface about the whole thing over the next few days, so far I’ve heard mixed reports. That article says that he had a hood placed over his head just prior to his hanging. But I saw 2 news stories on it this afternoon which both said he refused the offer for any kind of hood or blindfold, both stories also gave varying details on the rest of the event.

I read the article and I know there was a film crew present... I meant that the TV stations didn't have any footage...

But anyways, all will settle down some time soon... That or hell will brake loose and not just in Iraq

Well it's early morning in Iraq right now and all reports that everything is pretty much the same as any other Saturday morning. People just seem to be going about their lives, though that may be because many don't realise it's happened yet, the next few days will be rather telling.

Yeah, I'm sure the Iraqis loved him. I mean, if you didn't vote for him, he'd have your family killed. Class act.

Many Iraqis did infact love him and support him, hence why he evaded caputer for so long, but much of the country also hated him.

And Julie, he's dead, they have footage and photographs, so far they just haven't released the one's of him actually dieing but you can bet they'll show up on Al Jazeera before long.
