To claim your prize, PM me with your home address including postal/zip code AND phone#. I need this to have Amazon ship your prize and it will not be shared with anyone and will not be kept. (Do NOT post your info in this public thread!) I'll get your prize shipped out to you ASAP, although of course it will be arriving AFTER xmas. ;)

Now, those of you that didn't win, don't feel bad, there will be other contests in the future! To me you're ALL winners! ^_^ And, this being the season for giving n'such, I want to still give you something!

A book that I think is just fantastic is Finding Faith: A Self-Discovery Guide for Your Spiritual Quest by Brian McLaren, a "postmodern" Christian. He explores topics like "What is the relationship between faith and knowledge?", "What form of agnosticism is best?" and "Do you seriously expect me to think of God as an old man with a long white beard?". It's rational but caring; McLaren wants you to think and make up your own mind, even if you disagree with him. If you're interested in reading this book, I'll send it to you (thru Amazon), totally free. (Retail cost = $10.87). This applies to anyone who entered the contest, winners included. Here's more info 'bout the book:
http://www.amazon.com/Finding-Faith-Sel ... 310238382/
If you're interested, just send me a PM with your address including postal/zip code AND phone#; note that, again, this info will be kept entirely private and will not be saved/recorded/posted at all.
If you're not interested, no worries, but you'll have to find your own reading material this xmas! :)

Thanks to everyone who entered, winners contact me ASAP, everyone lemme know if you're interested in receiving the book above, and hope you have a merry Christmas and/or happy holiday season! :)

Wooooo! Pirate Metal will be coming my way. Arrrhhhhhhhh! :P Swift is going to be so jealous.

Big thanks to emmzee and congratulations to my fellow winners JKSM & Unknown_K.

As for that book you offered emmzee, it sound interesting and all, but honestly, I hardly ever read anymore so it'd be a bit selfish for me to take it. I'll leave it to someone else.

*Does a happy dance* Free CD coming my way, Woohoo. :P

And I guess this is probably a good time to say Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone, hope you have a good one. I’ll be mostly absent from about the 23rd until the new year, so have a good one if I don’t talk to you before then. :D

Thanks emmzee for holding the contest. Still haven't recover from the surprise. Congratulations to TSM & Unknown_K too. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to everyone.

This Christmas seem more like a New Year to me, many changes happening in real life and different kind of surprises.

The prizes to two of the three winners have been ordered, as well as one copy of the free book offer. (If you missed that, re-read my post above!) Still waiting for address confirmation from the last contest winner, then their prize will also be ordered. Fun times! :D

No need to be jealous of my prize, just go to a store and buy it! :P Canada is the only country where the CD I wanted is available in stores. Originally I was going to have to create a PayPal account for the sole purpose of getting this CD which I really didn’t want to do. So I was very lucky in winning this contest. :D

I could go out and buy it, but I have to buy a million other things. Plus, I want my book, not your CD. (Though I hope you enjoy it)

But, CM, surely you must know that true treasure is within the hearts of your friends and family?[/corny]

So... Are you saying that over this festive season I should rip out the hearts of my friends and family to get the pirate booty of gold, silver, jewels and other riches?

Normally you wait until the funeral, and then you get to play a fun "First Dibs" game, which normally devolves into an all-out brawl.

Haha, yes, I'm aware that real treasure is all about caring for other people...and those people caring for you...
but I was just being silly.
I'd love to go on a treasure hunt just for the shear adventure of it.

Alight CM, when the CD gets here let's go on one. You can go for the adventure, I'll go for the riches, everybody's happy that way. ;)

And Wormy... I call first dibs on that gold $ chain around your neck. :P
