What is the most unusual thing you've ever eaten?
I was recently asked this question & my answer was that I couldn't decide between grubs, a crushed beer can, hawk heat, kangaroo meat, ball bearings, 3 week expired milk & a gecko's tail. Any way what would your answer be to this question?

I've also eaten bad peanuts & bad pumpkin seeds but it was accidentally.
Now for better food. It's not unusual in Asia but may be unusual elsewhere. I've eaten eel meat & turtle's solidified blood long ago. Some people eat pig's solidified blood. For the past few years, I don't take any animal blood and my steak is always well done. I may have eaten flying fox's meat?? when I was on holiday. Not sure, we weren't told what we were eating until we finished. Common eating stuff in Asia - eating the entire fish including the eye white & tongue, duck's tongue, chicken / duck / pig's brain. I haven't tried pig's brain but don't intend to try. Is eating fried sweet potato leaves usual?
I've seem a documentary on TV that a restaurant in China serves mice and says it's high in protein and the price is not cheap. Some countries serve dog's meat but I would never want to try. People can try if they're not afraid of being chased by dogs as the dog smell stays on you for a few years after eating. There are some countries that served fried locusts & worms but I would never want to try as I don't like insects. In some traditional medicine, people boil bugs and cockraoches together with other plant herbs. Many years, it was big news that they had lollipop with a worm inside. My classmate back then tried it but I never tried.

Eel meat isn't that unusual, You can get it here in some places & I've actually got a good recipe for smoked eel somewhere but I can't remember where I put it. At one point you could get in England as well but I don't know if you still can. It's not unusual in Asia but may be unusual elsewhere. I've eaten eel meat
Apparently pig brain supposed to be tasty but I haven't tried it. There's a place in Auckland that serves it as a specialty But I live too far away to travel there for it to be worthwhile.Wild snapping turtle meat, pig brain, fried frog legs, ostrich meat. All good shit.
